Margie Lorraine Thacker, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away October 30, 2015. The daughter of Fred E. and Nora W. Seall Thacker, Margie was born February 21, 1947 in Indianapolis.

She retired from Greenwood Middle School in 2013 as a special education aide. Margie enjoyed cooking, crafts and ceramics and working on her family genealogy.

Margie is survived by her sister, Florence Gunderman of Indianapolis and her brother, Richard Thacker of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Donald and Raymond Thacker.

Graveside services 2:00 p.m. November 3, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
