Marie McDonald, age 74, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, February 25, at her home in Greenwood after a battle with cancer. Her family was by her side. Marie was born August 14, 1936 in Lafayette, TN to Burl and Essie (Brawner) Marsh. She married David A. McDonald in Lafayette on May 8, 1953. She and David moved to Indianapolis after the wedding and Marie worked at RCA and Western Electric as an assembly line operator. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Bobby Jo, and brother J.C. Marsh. Survivors include her husband, of 57 years, David; daughter, Pam (Kevin) Foster; sons, Mike (Jeanne) and Billy (Candy) McDonald; brother, Ronnie (Millie) Marsh; sisters, Jean Jent, Hellen (Ike) Cox, and Shirlie (Val Oros) Nolan; six grandchildren, David (Priscilla) Foster, Michelynne (Tim) McNeeley, Lauren, Anna, Brandon, and Brittany McDonald; five great grandchildren, Ivan, Isaac, Rohan, Gage, and Collins Marie; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will truly be missed by all she met. A celebration of Marie''s life will be Tuesday, March 1 at 11:00 AM with Terry Foster officiating at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, February 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Francis Hospice House, 438 S.
