Marilyn L. VanLandingham, age 80, of New Whiteland, passed away December 5, 2016. The daughter of Russell and Neoma Berry Richey, Marilyn was born December 6, 1935 in Austin, Indiana.

For several years, she worked as a clerk in retail. An avid Pacers fan, she also enjoyed bowling and helping other people.

Marilyn is survived by sons, Larry (Debby) VanLandingham of Whiteland, Mike VanLandingham of New Whiteland; daughters, Tammy (Derek) Smith of Greenwood, Linda (Randy) Werden of Whiteland and Toni (Jeff) Sims of Greenwood; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death on September 21, 2010 by her husband, Everett, whom she married on November 7, 1952 in Indianapolis and her sister, Linda Mobley.

Visitation will be December 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. A private entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
