Marion Z. "Bill" Cashion
Marion Z. "Bill" Cashion of Mooresville, 76, died November 17, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was born June 9, 1932 in Obion County, TN and has lived in this area for 38 years. His parents were Clarence Rupert and Clara Cashon. He married Mary Jo Bowers on March 16, 1957 in Fulton, KY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Cashion was a construction manager, master electrician, master plumber and heating and air contractor. Bill encouraged all his family to seek education and was very proud of the six college degrees earned by his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons: Billy (Ronda) Cashion and Mark Allen Cashion both of Mooresville; two daughters: Leatha Ann (Rex) Young of Mooresville and Mary Lynne (Chris) Duffer of Beech Grove. One brother: David Cashon of Dukedom, TN; one sister: Barbara (Greg) Lahndorff of Paducah, KY. He was also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother Roger Dale Cashon.
Services will be conducted at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood on Saturday, November 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call 4pm to 8pm Friday and 9:00am Saturday until time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
