Marion Hugh Hampton, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away July 27, 2012 at Greenwood Health & Living Center, Greenwood.
The son of Joseph H. Hampton and Beulah M. Hampton Kendrick, Marion was born June 14, 1924 in Morgantown, Kentucky.
For 30 years, he owned and operated Spotless Cleaning Service.
Funeral services 1:00 p.m. July 31, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. July 30, 2012. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
Marion is survived by his son, Manuel H. Hampton of Indianapolis; brother, Ray Hampton of Southport; sister, Betty Cardwell of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Kincade Hampton; daughter, Violet Foerster and brother, Wendall Hampton.
