Obituary

Mr. Marion Paul Workman, Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was 75. Paul was born June 22, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Charles Melvin and Edna Elnora (Ferguson) Workman.

Paul attended George Washington High School in Indianapolis and had worked as a roofer for Blackmore and Buckner Roofing for 32 years. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Terre Haute where they spent the rest of their lives together. Paul was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and particularly cherished the moments spent camping with the family.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Paula Brown, Christy (Rodney) Harper and Stephanie Workman; his grandchildren, Amanda Harper, Sierra Harper, Vivian (Nick) Grafe, Andrea Ellison, Michella Kindig, Madison Kindig and Jacob Kindig; his great-grandchildren, Hayden Harper, Kynliegh Harper, Carter Malone and Amyla Grafe; his sister, Delores (Charles) Onken as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in passing by his beloved wife of nearly 45 years, Carolyn J. Workman; a daughter, Penny Boyce; two sisters, Patty Davenport and Sandra Baker and his stepfather, Arva Kurtz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
