Marlouise "Mikki" Thacker, age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born February 20, 1934 in Southport, IN to Harold A. and Mary K. (Gates) Kleis. Mikki was a graduate of Martinsville High School and earned her Associate degree from Indiana Central. She became an LPN and worked at St. Francis and other healthcare facilities for many years. She married Donald E. Thacker on October 17, 1951 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1994. Mikki was an avid reader and she loved to tend to her flower garden. She touched many lives through the years and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mikki is survived by her sons, Andy Thacker, Ron (Patra) Thacker, Brian Thacker, Pat (Connie) Thacker and James Thacker; daughter, Amy (Ron) Sink; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
