Obituary

Marshall L. Perry, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away June 18, 2017. The son of Lloyd C. and Katherine M. Cordray Perry, he was born May 31, 1937 in Morgan County, Indiana.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood and was a retired dispatcher, having worked for Celadon Trucking, Transcon Express and P.I.E. Trucking. Marshall enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre and Canasta, playing a round or two of gold and was an I.U. basketball fan.

Marshall is survived by his wife, Connie S. Clark Perry; children, Gary Manning, Allen and Tom Bland, Kristin Perry, Catherine Fegett; brothers, Marcus and Jeffery Perry; sisters, Eda Mae Rogers, Doris Jean Enstrom, Shawn Rodriguez and Laura Maldonado; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Marty L. Perry, II; daughter, Shannon Pickett; brother, Melvin Perry and sister, Phyllis Dillman.

Friends may call starting at 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. June 22, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
