Martin Devon Kindig, 84, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away October 1, 2017 at Greenwood Meadows. The son of Harrison and Pleasant Donathan Kindig, Martin was born February 10, 1933 in Osceola, Indiana.
Martin was a corporate consultant in people building and corporate culture design. He developed the Poets for Integrity poetry website. By faith, Martin was a Quaker.
Martin is survived by son, Martin H. Kindig of Bloomington, Indiana; daughters, Lana K. (James) Shields of Martinsville, Karin I. (Russ) Andersen of Greenwood; sister, Clarice S. Miles of Osceola; grandchildren, Nichole Anderson (Christopher) Johnson, Katy Shields (Andrew) Grismore, Kelsey Shields and Kori Shields (Aaron) Fitzwater; great-grandchildren, Hayden Johnson, Halle Johnson and Nehemiah Grismore. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tina Marie Kindig; brothers, Harrison Dean, Richard Owen and Ronald Kindig and sisters, Joan Cook, Margaret Goss and Lucille Fink.
There are no public visitation or funeral services planned.
