Mary Maxine (Blake) Kiser, 94, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016 at her home. Maxine was born to William and Flossie Blake in Indianapolis on July 24, 1921 and graduated from Broad Ripple High School.

Maxine co-owned Don Kiser Cleaners in Greenwood, along with her husband, for almost 40 years. Maxine was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. She attended Broad Ripple Methodist through her younger years and Greenwood Methodist until her passing. She was an accomplished award winning china painter and even had pieces in the Governor's mansion, a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society of Greenwood and Women''s Rotary. She loved gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; and her 10 siblings, Paul, Arvilla, Virginia, Russ, Floyd, Keith, Jimmy, Ruthie, Jack & Joe. She was blessed with two happy marriages, her first husband, Charles Bilyeu, of 20 years and her second husband, Donald Kiser, of 50 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marti (Bilyeu) Pope and her grandson, Clay Pope Freije.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Dianne Birchler (Richard), and sons Michael Kiser (Livia) and David Kiser (Rebecca); her granddaughters, Traci (Nancy) Birchler, Angie (Jim) Birchler, Jamie (Greg) Freije, Jodi Pope, Ellen McCammon and grandsons, Alex McCammon, Devin Sullivan-Lee, Stephen McCammon and Hugh Kiser; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Freije, Lauren Freije, Tirzah Freije and Tag Hiser; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her devoted caregivers, Lauri Newman and Diane Holtgrave,

Her celebration of life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN on June 23, 2016 with visitation starting at 12:00 pm, funeral service at 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

A reception will follow at 3:30 pm at Greenwood United Methodist Church.
