Mary H. Cherry, 86, of Indianapolis passed away March 3, 2019. She was born September 20, 1932 in Trimble County, KY to Eugene Roberts and Denzil (Wentworth) Roberts Lowe.

Mary was married to Fred Cherry for 58 years who preceded her in death. She enjoyed going out to eat, football, and trips to Florida. She worked as a court clerk for the Democratic Party. She loved martinis and her family, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, James Cherry, Janie (James – deceased) Hatton, Tina (Ricky – deceased) Carter, Glen Cherry, and Jeffrey (Amanda) Cherry; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Peewee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
