Indianapolis-Mary Christina Denzio Barnhart, age 85, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2019.  She was born on December 14, 1933 to the late Lawrence and Agnes Denzio in Indianapolis, IN.  Mary married Norman Barnhart, who preceded her in death on March 27, 1999.  She was employed by L.S. Ayres, downtown location for over 30 years, retiring when the store closed January 1992.  Mary was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Daytona Beach, Fl. and formerly Holy Rosary in Indianapolis.  She enjoyed volunteering at church, spending time with friends and family, walking the beach and Colts football.  Mary spent the last 15 years living in Daytona Beach, Fl. but lived most of her life in Indianapolis.  Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street with a Memorial Mass there are 12:00 PM.  Mary is survived by her son, Steven A. Barnhart; siblings Nancy Parker, Larry Denzio (Elaine); sister-in-law Barbara Denzio; granddaughter Christina Marie; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Denzio, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IMPD K9 Fund, Box 55522, Indianapolis, IN 46205-Condolences may expressed to the family at www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com
