Mary Fancher, North Vernon, IN, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was 76 years old. Mary was born in Harlan, KY to her parents Meril and Lilly Eldrige. Mary married her husband, Ralph, and together they shared many years of marriage.
Mary worked as a janitor for Perry High School and retired after many years of service. Mary was a religious christian who enjoyed attending church services. Mary enjoyed taking walks in various parks and perusing through yard sales. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson and her sister, Mae. Her strong willed nature will be missed by those who survive her.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lori (Larry) Huff; her grandson, Jeremy Aumann; her siblings, Mae Wood, Ken Eldrige, and Lois Gaines; her several nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her companion, Ralph Fancher; her siblings, Lee Eldrige, Bill Eldrige, Bob Eldrige and Helen Harvey.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm.
