Mary Blanche Long, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away July 8, 2014. She was born January 15, 1932 in Allen Co., KY to the late Edward and Delanie (Jent) Fishburn. Mary loved flowers, cooking, singing and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, J.R. Long who passed away November 20, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Paul and Noel Fishburn, Clara Cook, Mildred Evans, Novice Dempsey and Earline Stinson. Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathy Wortman and Linda (Marty) Goodwin; grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Enochs and Joshua Wortman; great grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia and Jaden.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
