Mary A. Garmon, age 68 of Indianapolis, died at 5:50 a.m. February 2, 2009 at Community South Hospital. She was born July 5, 1940 in Mercedes, Texas.
Mrs. Garmon was a member of Grace Assembly of God in Whiteland. She worked as a cashier at Crystal Flash in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her husband Robert Garmon, Sr., one son, Robert Garmon, Jr. and five daughters, Debra Hubbard, Dawn Schott, Melody Diane Patrick, Rhonda Denise Brackett and Darlene Gilliam. She has 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren also surviving. One brother, Oscar Bowman, Jr. and three sisters, Paulina Quiroga, Dee Huggins and Esther Miller.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, February 3rd at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. Services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday, February 4th at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
