Mary R. Hancock 80, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, April 26, 2010. Mary was born in Christian County, KY to the late William and Bessie Rogers. She graduated from Sinking Fork High School class of 1947 in Hopkinsville, KY. Mary was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs. She also drove a school bus for Perry Township School District. Mary also loved the colors associated with spring time and all the blooming flowers. She is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Rogers. Survivors include, three children,Stephen Hancock, Kristi Hancock-Campbell and Sherri Stewart; one sister, Nellie Fowkles; five grandchildren, Scott, Brad, Nicole Hancock; Eric, Chad Stewart; and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 30,2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A private service will follow. Burial will also take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
