Mary H. McDowell, 84, of Indianapolis passed away Feb. 26, 2014 at Rosegate Village. Born April 5, 1929 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Marie (Graham) Havlin.

She was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.

She worked as an office manager for REX Business Machines in Indianapolis for several years.

She is survived by two sons, John E. (Kathy) McDowell and Robert A. (Lisa) Yaw; a brother Robert E. Havlin; three sisters, Arline Duffer, Marcia Ziegler and Brenda Plum; two grandsons, Nick (Angela) McDowell and Robbie Yaw IV. She was preceded in death by her parents

Funeral Service 2:00 PM Tuesday Mar. 4, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
