Mary Katheryn Mayhew, 59, passed away December 29, 2011. Kathy was born on June 16, 1952 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Kenneth Howard and Harriett Mae (Husted) Kitts. Kathy is a 1970 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. She married her love Timothy Thomas Mayhew immediately following graduation on August 14, 1970.
Kathy was an exceptionally loving and caring wife, mother, and friend to all whom knew her. Kathy was an executive secretary for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 25 years, retiring in 1998. Kathy loved crafting and scrapbooking. She was involved in the Children''s Ministry with Emanuel Church of Greenwood for 6 years.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Tim of 41 years; daughter Jennifer Inabbitt (Steve); and sister Jacqie Hardison (Tom).
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; son Brian Patrick Mayhew; and brother Kenneth Walter Kitts.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, with the funeral service immediately following.
