Our strong mother, beautiful wife, and faithful friend, Mary Ruth Mink, passed away on December 3rd, 2018. Ruth was born in Somerset, KY on November 29th, 1934, living most of her life in Greenwood, IN.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Vice (Cromer) Chaney; brothers, Ervin Chaney, Carter Chaney, Raymond Chaney, Lewis Chaney, Russell Chaney, Floyd Chaney, Loyd Chaney, and Coy Chaney; and sisters, Lorene Lee, and Lavonne Shewmaker.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, William "Tom" Glenton Mink; children, Glenton Gale (Nancy), Deborah Joan (Robert, deceased) Cook, Randall Keith (Maria), and William Neal (Curt Schnaufer); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Our loss leaves us with an emptiness that we will fill with memories of Ruth's loving kindness, ever present prudence, and strength against adversity. Until we meet again, may God embrace this strong, Christian woman.

Final services will be held at Greenwood Christian Church, 2045 Averitt Rd., Greenwood, IN on Monday, December 10th. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service at noon, with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
