Mary Jane Mattingly, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away July 12, 2012. The daughter of Thomas C. and Elizabeth (Ragsdale) Moshenrose, Mary Jane was born February 15, 1926 in Indianapolis.
Mary Jane was a legal secretary with Barnes & Thornburg, LLP and after retirement, worked for Judge Paul Buchanan.
Mary Jane was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church; played bridge, enjoyed reading, picnics, spending time with family and friends and outings with her family at Woodland Lake. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ralph.
Survivors: daughter, Jane (Bert) Robins; sons, Bill (Tiffany) Mattingly, Tom (Beverly) Mattingly, Casey (Lores) Mattingly, Patrick Mattingly (Kelly) and Andrew Mattingly; grandchildren, Eden Robins, Sarah Mattingly, John Walter Mattingly, Elizabeth Grace Mattingly, Casey S. Mattingly and Lilia Mattingly and great-grandchildren, Riley, Rorie and Parker.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. July 14, 2012 in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
