Mary Ellen (Patterson) Byrd, 64, of Indianapolis, Indiana, went home to be with her true love on February 22, 2021.  She was born February 15, 1957 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Richard and Mary Ellen Patterson.

Mary was survived by her sons, Randy Patterson, Robert (Sheila) Byrd, Richard (Sassy) Byrd, and David (Samantha) Byrd; grandchildren, Alexis, James Michael, Matthew, Hope, April Lynn, and Aubrey; great grandchildren, Zackary and Declan; and siblings, Dan, Robin, Richard, and Linda.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Byrd, Sr.

A private service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery and Funeral Home.
