Rodgers, Mary (Bruce), age 91, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away Sunday December 12, 2021 in Indianapolis. Born April 18, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mary was the youngest daughter of Ordia Bruce and Edith Holder Bruce. In 1948,

Mary married Charles Rodgers on September 5th. Mary with Charlie and their two children, Ronald and Marcia, settled in Bloomington, Indiana. In Bloomington, she became a school secretary for many years. After retirement, Mary, being an excellent seamstress, created a business, selling her hand-made purses. Enjoying traveling to different places, Mary and Charlie were members of the Travelin' Turtles, an RV club. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rodgers of Bloomington, and daughter Marcia Becker of Southern Pines, NC, and her siblings: Ann Bruce, Betty Wade, and Robert Bruce.

Mary is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Rosemary Rodgers of Indianapolis; son-in-law, Mark Becker of Southern Pines, NC; grandchildren, Leslie Rodgers Dubs (Justin) of Raleigh, NC, Emily Rodgers (Chris) of Franklin, IN, Matthew Becker (Samantha) of Charlotte, NC, and Benjamin Becker (Mia) of Ann Arbor, MI, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns, there will be no formal funeral services.
