Mary Ellen (Schrum) Krause, 90, was born on June 4, 1929 and passed away June 3, 2020.

She was preceded  in death by her husband, Edward L. Krause, Sr.; parents, Otto and Mary Schrum; brother, Ralph Schrum; and grandson, Joey Birtchman.

Mary Ellen is survived by her sisters, Betty Walters and Pauline Schrum; brothers, Martin (Sonny) Schrum, and Jim Schrum; children, Michael Birtchman, Dan Birtchman, Tim (Bonnie) Birtchman, JoAnn Birtchman and Susie Doescher; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Mary Ellen worked at the Rytex Co. for 34 years, retiring in 1994.  She was a life-long member of Olive Branch Christian Church.  She loved to travel, family gatherings, reading (J.D. Robb), sunflowers and shoes!

There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.  Forest Lawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving Mary Ellen's family.
