Mary Jeanne (Seitz) Capin, 90, of Tega Cay, South Carolina, formerly of Greenwood and Indianapolis, passed away August 19, 2015. The daughter of Jess H. and Sarah Elizabeth (Doddridge) Seitz, Mary was born January 17, 1925 in Mount Carmel, Illinois.

A homemaker, she had served as choir director for West Morris Street Free Methodist Church, Meridian Street Church of God and Community Church of Greenwood. She performed volunteer work with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Mary is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" F. Capin of Tega Cay, SC; daughter, Sheryll Capin-Harrell of Collierville, TN; sons, Gregory Capin of Atlanta, GA and Mark Capin of Fishers, IN; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Seitz.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. August 27, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. August 28, 2015 at Meridian Street Church of God - 7800 South Meridian Street Indianapolis.
