Obituary

Mary Ethel Stott, 93, of Indianapolis passed away on January 22, 2013. She was born February 4, 1919 in rural Orange County, south of Paoli, Indiana to John Lee and Lela (Hall) Noblitt, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stott. Mary was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and past secretary and treasurer. Mary was an avid race fan and attended her first Indianapolis 500 in 1949. She loved baseball and was a Chicago Cubs fan. She was a 1936 graduate of Paoli High School. She worked three years for Ransburg Corporation and retired from RCA after 29 years of service. She and her husband, Al, also managed the Alanon Club at 46th and Carvel for 17 years. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Kinser and son, Max Moneyhan; granddaughter, Martine (Mike) Miller and grandson Russell (Barbara) Osborne; three great granddaughters and three great great granddaughters. The family would like to thank the St. Francis Hospice care people for all their help during Mary Ethel''s final months. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 26, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Woodland Baptist Church, 3200 Southeast Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
