Mary E. Tarter, age 96 of Indianapolis, died at 4:45 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2008. Born, January 25, 1912, she was the daughter of Young Wattie and Mildred McCray. Mary is now at peace with her beloved husband Omer who died in April 1998. She will be missed dearly by her family. Mary is survived by a daughter, Jody Niece and a son, Larry Tarter as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
