Matthew "Matt" Ernest McCloud, of Cloverdale, IN, passed away January 26 at the age of 64. Born in Indianapolis, IN on April 7, 1961, to the late Clarence (Cloudy) and Ethel (Mimi) McCloud.

Matt was a gentle yet stern man who was straightforward, but he loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed working with his hands and was considered a jack of all trades. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop, being outdoors in warm weather, singing and listening to good music, and making great food. He also loved his dogs Louie, Griff, Bailey, Beau, and Rae.

Matt is survived by the love of his life and partner for more than 30 years, Michele Faison; two sons Nathaniel (Kayla) McCloud and Nicholas (Amelia) McCloud; three grandchildren Ella McCloud, Nora McCloud, and Mason McCloud and six siblings Curtis, Susan, Chris, Colin, Greg and Debbie. He is preceded in death by both parents and two siblings Kasey and Barbara.

A gathering will be held on Friday February 6 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
