Maurine B. Campbell, 79, of Greenwood, passed away March 15, 2017. The daughter of Woolery "Dutch" and Nannie Couch Bowling, Maurine was born June 15, 1937, in Hazard, Kentucky.

A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, boating and camping at Lake Lemon and cooking for family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Maurine is survived by sons, Rick (Peggy) Campbell of Greenwood and Ty (Darla) Campbell of Indianapolis; sisters, Dorothy Willis, Dolly Combs, Nanajean Baker and Thelma Means; grandchildren, Brandy Burgoyne, Brittany Campbell, Michael Campbell and Matthew Campbell; great-grandchildren, Nora Campbell and Ford Burgoyne. In addition to her parents, Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Campbell, whom she married on January 29, 1957 in Indianapolis; brothers, Garrett, Fred and Lester Bowling and sister, Maltie Woods.

Funeral services 3:30 p.m. March 19, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 19th at the funeral home. Entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
