Mavis Burch, 93, of Zionsville, passed away May 13, 2012. The daughter of Charlie and Emma (Barge) Jett, Mavis was born April 25, 1919 in Greene County, Indiana.
The widow of Irven J. Burch, Mavis is survived by daughter, Wynonia Y. (Richard) Patterson; grandsons, Michael R. (Jen) and Steven C. (Karen) Patterson; great-granddaughters, Chase, Emma and Kelsey Patterson; brother, Dale (Lil) Jett; sister Avis Wilkie. Besides her parents, Mavis was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Jett.
Mavis was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church and the Greenwood Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Services 1 p.m. May 17, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
