Obituary

Maxine E. Renauto, 91, of Greenwood, passed away March 26, 2016. The daughter of Chauncey Morton and Verna Fern Oliver Elliott, Maxine was born October 19, 1924 in Ladoga, Indiana.

Over the years, Maxine had worked for Indiana Bell Telephone Company; Allison''s and was a timekeeper for FMC (formerly Link Belt). She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Myers, Florida; enjoyed reading, playing golf, bowling and playing cards.

Maxine is survived by daughters, Kay L. Renauto and Nancy (Ronald) Throgmorton, both of Greenwood and Shirley J. (Tom) Kaeuper of Richmond; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ignatius "Nate" A. Renauto, whom she married on January 7, 1945; and her two brothers, H. Robert and Carl Edward Elliott.

Services 12:30 p.m. March 31, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to FUMC Community Council in care of the Franklin United Methodist Community Employees Christmas Fund - 1070 West Jefferson Street Franklin, IN 46131.
