Maxine F. Owens, 92, died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Franciscan Hospice Care in Indpls, IN.  She was a resident of Franklin. She was born in Portland, TN on Aug. 2, 1927.  Her parents were Mack and Amie (Hobdy) Perdue.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Owens, and son, Larry W. Owens.  Survivors include one son, Jim Owens of Columbus, IN; three daughters, Sherry McDermid of Trafalgar, Janice Wilson of Whiteland and Vickie Morgan of Indianapolis; two sisters, Wilma Reeder of IN, and Glenda Lynch of GA; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Shelbyville Road Church of Christ.  Services will be held Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
