Mazie Lee (Bickford) Shrewsbury, 92, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.  She was born October 9, 1927 in Montgomery, West Virginia to Ashby and Annie (Kelley) Bickford.

Mazie was a homemaker and spent her life caring for her husband and her family. She loved to sew and also enjoyed crocheting and making dolls and other crafts as well.  She not only raised her own three children, but helped to raise her nieces and nephews and grandchildren as well.  She was a long time member of Villa Baptist Church, a devoted Christian lady with a pleasant personality.  Mazie was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Mazie is survived by her children, David A. Shrewsbury, Paul Richard Shrewsbury and Donna (James) Dorey; grandchildren, Jacob Austin, Rachel Shrewsbury and Kevin Shrewsbury; brother, Freddie Eugene Bickford; niece, Gloria Latham and her children Nicholas and Andrea, and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mazie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lewis Shrewsbury and 7 siblings.

There will be a private gathering Tuesday, March 24 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
