Mel J. Massey, age 84, beloved husband of Trudy Gertrude nee Lashbrook, caring father of Marguerite Erlandson and Christine Massey, passed away peacefully July 18, 2013. (3) Grandchildren and (5) great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph and sister, Mary Ellen Moore. Mel graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1952. In 1970 he organized and operated a law practice - Advanced Underwriter Consultants until 1998 at which time he retired.
Mel was active in many law and tax related organizations. He was also an avid model railroader.

Services will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, at 1p.m., July 26, 2013 with visitation from 11a.m. until service time. Contributions may be made to an Alzheimer's charity of your choosing in lieu of flowers.
