Melanie Lee Vize, 51, of Sparta, TN. passed away at her home, with her loving family on February 17, 2011. Melanie was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, and loved all animals. Melanie was a former member of Mt. Olive Church of Indianapolis. Melanie was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Lee Bailey. She is survived by her husband, David Vize; parents, Michael and Dixie Teets; grandmother, Opal Cassida; two sons, Jerret (Dolly) and Bradley Vize; two grandchildren, Mikey and Serenity; Family and friends will gather in Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a service on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn in the front of the Ben Franklin Mausoleum Chapel.
