Melene "Mel" Rae (Miller) Schultz, 81, unexpectedly passed away June 6, 2021, at her home in Greenwood, IN.  Melene was born May 22, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN to Arthur Miller and Ruthelma (Croucher) Miller, who preceded her in death.

Her siblings were Richard "Dick" Miller and Jack Miller.  Richard Miller preceded her in death.  She married Frederick "Fritz" Schultz Jr. on May 29, 1959, who also preceded her in death.  She had one son, Michael Schultz, who married Elizabeth "Betsy" (Shelley) Schultz.  And had four grandsons, Nathaniel, Kevin, Jacob, and Caleb Schultz.

Melene attended Breaking Bread Apostolic Church with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons.  Melene's family meant the world to her, and she enjoyed every second she had with them.

Reverend John Biddle will conduct the Services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home.  The viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, at 4:00-7:00 PM, and burial on Saturday, June 12, at 11:00 AM.
