Michael J. Jones, 63, of Indianapolis, died Saturday December 18, 2010. Mike was born in Hazard, Kentucky on March 27, 1947. Mike attended Bethel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, working in his yard and his backyard habitat of birds and butterfly''s. He married Joyce McCord Jones and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters and son-in-laws: Dawn and Dan Morrison, and Denise and John Porter. One son: Damon Jones. Mother: Lorene Jones. One brother: James Jones. Three sisters and brother-in-laws: Karen and Chuck Dorris, Barbara and Brad Sims, and Tracey and Rich Adams. Ten grandchildren: Tammy, Todd, Jessica, Justin, Alayna, Shane, Tiffany, Jacob, Jasmine and Vincent. Four great-grandchildren: Karma, Riley, Taylor and Rayden. He is preceded by his father Coolie Jones. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
