Michael Dean Kinnick, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away November 1, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was born December 6, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Waldon Ray and Lillian Jean (Meyer) Kinnick.

Michael earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts, graduated from Southport High School and then went on to graduate from Purdue University with a Masters degree in Chemistry.  He married his love, Teresa (Moseman) Kinnick in 1972.  Together they raised their beautiful daughter, Sarah.  Michael retired from Eli Lilly after 34 years as a research chemist.  He enjoyed history and was handy around the house when it came to repairs.  Above all, Michael loved his family. He was a faithful and devoted father and caregiver to Sarah.  Michael touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

Michael is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter, Sarah; siblings, Randall (Barbara) Kinnick, and Shelby (Jim) Baker; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 11 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's name may be made to: Especially Kidz General Fund,  2325 S. Miller St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
