Michael Lee Plew was born on January 21, 1953 and passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on May 27, 2020 at 8:00am.

He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana and graduated from Russell Springs High School in Kentucky in 1971.

He was married to the love of his life, Juna Kalene Plew, on April 7, 1973, and had two beautiful daughters, Brandi Michelle and Misty Dawn.

He worked for Wake Up Oil Company for 16 years and retired from Speedway in the summer of 2016.

He is survived by his spouse, Juna; daughters, Brandi (Chad) and Misty (Chris); father Jack Sheets; brothers, Don (Loretta), Ron, Steve (Jackie), Jack II (Paula); sister, Darlene; sisters-in-law, Gayle and Kim (Jay); grandsons, Austin Lee, Cody Joseph, Alex Jeremiah, and Dylan Christopher; 27 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; and twin great-great niece and nephew; and many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Sheets; sister, Terri Wiley; father-in-law, Ralph Tolliver; mother-in-law, Joyce Tolliver; and brother-in-law, Ralph Tolliver III.
