Mr. Michael David Silcox, Paragon, Indiana, passed away on the early afternoon of Friday, October 30, 2020. He was 68. Mike was born April 22, 1952 in Martinsville a son of the late Herman Travis and Eunice Mahailee Ellen (Brown) Silcox.

Mike attended school in Martinsville and was a professional truck driver. He had driven for many companies throughout his career and had been employed for seven years with FedEx before retiring in 2014. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, dogs and riding his motorcycle. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Mike was a common man and enjoyed the simple things in life and loved everyone he met.

Mike is survived by his wife, Betty (Bonds) Silcox, whom he married February 4, 1991 in Louisville, KY; his children, Charles Silcox (friend, Colleen Riley), Shawn Silcox, Denise (Dennis) Ramsey and Cheryl (Gregg) Imel; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his siblings, Travis Silcox, Larry Silcox, Jerry Silcox, Paul Silcox, Wanda Silcox and Alicia Silcox.

There are no services scheduled in keeping with Mike's request and entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
