Michael Sloan, 48, of Indianapolis passed away on November 8, 2017. Michael was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 30, 1969; he worked as a welder/maintenance at Design Industries nearly 19 years. His hobbies included building scale model cars, racing at Indianapolis Speedrome, attending NASCAR races, he was a fan of Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr.; Michael loved to make jokes and making people laugh. His personality was warm, loving and kind. He was a loving and devoted father, a truly great dad. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Amanda Sloan; sons, Tyler and Jaxson; brother, Jeremy Sloan; sisters, Holly Sloan, Jennifer Sloan and Angela (Sloan) Baker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
