Mr. Michael Dean York, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 12, 1944, in Seymour, Indiana, Michael was the son of John M. and Frances (Glaze) York.

Michael grew up in Greenwood, Indiana, and graduated as a proud member of Greenwood High School's Class of 1962. Following high school, he furthered his education at the University of Louisville. He built a career as a skilled toolmaker with the Indiana Diecast and Tool Company in Franklin, where he dedicated 22 years of service before retiring.

Michael's life was marked by his steadfast devotion to his family. He is survived by his three beloved children, Scott, Tobey and David as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in passing by his first wife, Pamela.
