Mildred Louise Butler, age 90, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was born March 9, 1923 in Golden, MS to James L. and Lydia (Stancil) Butler. Mildred was a graduate of Phil Campbell High School with the Class of 1942. She married Thomas Butler on July 21, 1942 and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1992. Mildred was a homemaker who loved to travel and spend time with her family She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Debbie) Butler, of Indianapolis; daughters, Doris (Jack) Parks, of Greenwood and Debbie (Tracy) Windle, of Indianapolis; two granddaughters, five grandsons, six great granddaughters and four great grandsons; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Entombment will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
