Mineola "Marie" Lucas Souder-March 21, 1940 – April 14, 2020.

Married George Souder on May 17, 1957 and widowed after 36 years on March 9, 1993.

Born in Indianapolis to Virgil and Hazel Lucas.  Mother to Jeffrey (Robin) Souder, Russell (Kim) Souder, Mark Souder, and Judi Souder. Eight grandchildren: Ryan, Amber, Adam, Ashleigh, Eddie, Jessica, Brian, and Stephanie.  Eight great grandchildren, and one coming in October: Grayson, Cole, Parker Rose, Moira, Wren, Allyssa, Hailey, Olivia, and Mackenzie.  Several nieces and nephews.

Retired from NBD Bank 1979-1995.  Worked for Ayr-Way Department store 1971-1975; Hook's Drug Store 1975-1993; Meijer Department Store 2001-2017.

Sister of Lowell Cullison and Irvin Cullison (deceased).  Attended Southport High School.  Loved everyone on the Southside!

Celebration of Life will be held on May 16th 2:00 - 4:00 pm at GH Hermann Funeral Home 1605 S. SR 135 Greenwood, IN.  For family only, entombment is planned at Forest Lawn Cemetery mausoleum Veterans Section for 1:30 pm - May 16 to reunited Marie with her husband George in their wedding anniversary date.
