Muriel M. (Dixon) Walters, 80, of Greenwood, IN passed away January 31, 2014 at Kindred Hospital South.
Born March 3, 1933 in Vevay, IN, she was the daughter of the late Kirby and Laura (Osborne) Walters.
She married Floyd Walters on September 18, 1954 in Madison, IN.
He preceded her in death in1996.
Muriel is survived by two sons, Steven (Monica) Walters and Timothy Walters. Three brothers, Harold, Gerald, and Keith Dixon. Seven sisters, Lettie Wilson, Etta Royse, Amy Lush, Joyce Wesley, Carolyn Altepeter, Vonna Haynes, and Evelyn Rose.
A grand-daughter and two great-grandsons.
She was a member of Grove Baptist Church in Greenwood.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 3, 2014, 6:00 PM,
at Forest Lawn funeral home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
