Nancy Ann Selch November 1, 1941 – March 2, 2022; Nancy was born in Dubuque, Iowa to James M and AnnaLee Ennis.  She was the third child. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers, Jim Ennis and John Ennis. Nancy passed away of natural causes.

During her first-grade year of schooling she was diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever. Once she was able to return to school, she only attended mornings. During the afternoons, her mother taught her card games.  Her favorites were Canasta and Euchre which began her lifetime enjoyment of card games.

The family moved to Bloomington, Indiana during the winter of 1952.  Spring of 1953 she joined Junior Gardening through the community gardens. For many years to come, between March and August she would spend as much time as she could at the gardens tending to vegetables and flowers. Purple lilacs were her favorite flower. She was also a member of the local Audubon Society.

She graduated Bloomington High School in 1960.  She attended Indiana University in the summer and fall of 1960, studying accounting.  She had her first job at the IU Union building on campus in the catering department.  She also learned to square dance though activities at the Union building.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Bloomington; where she met Joseph Spradlin and married in 1963. In 1965 they moved to Fayetteville, AR where she worked as a teller at McCoy Bank, the oldest bank in Arkansas.   First daughter Elaine Jennifer was born in Fayetteville in January 1969.  Second daughter Emily Jane was born in Granite City, IL in December 1969.  The family settled in Elkhart, IN in 1970. The couple divorced in 1976.

Through square-dancing, she met Scotty Selch in 1977.  The couple married June 1978 at the Festival of Roses in Indianapolis.  Scotty brought a son (Shawn) and twin daughters (Gavin and Kris) to the family.  The family attended Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis.  She was a member of the Women's Group which sponsors an annual Strawberry Festival on the circle.  She also served as an acolyte and usher.  She was employed by the State of Indiana for more than 25 years.

On weekends, she would travel Indiana and surrounding states with Scotty as he portrayed a traveling puppeteer at living history re-enactments.  In addition to assisting with puppet shows; she quickly became known for her Dutch oven baking and open-fire cooking.

She is survived by daughter Elaine Jennifer Lockwood; daughter Emily Pratt (John), grandsons James Inwood (Qassye) and Joseph Inwood.  She is also survived by first husband Joseph Spradlin.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, John "Scotty" Selch.  Survived by stepson, Shawn Selch (Michelle) his children Ian and Katelynn Selch; stepdaughter Gavin Selch her children Kassandra Rhea (grandson Dexter) and Ehren Burrows; stepdaughter Irena Kris Warriner (Jeremy) her children Connor, Caelan, Cameron, Cade and Colleen Priddy.
