Nancy Wickham, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was 68 years old. Nancy was born in Indianapolis, IN, to her parents Charles Edward and Carolyn Sue Hapner. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, class of 1976. Nancy married her husband, Frank Alexander Wickham, and shared 25 years of marriage until Frank passed away in 1999. Later, Nancy met a gentleman, Matthew Johnson, at her church and shared 25 loving years of companionship with him.
Nancy worked for Saturday Evening Post for over 32 dedicated years in both mail fulfillment and the accounting department. Nancy was a member of Wesleyan Christian Church for over 35 years. Nancy was heavily involved in the Church with the youth programs, women's group, vacations, and the congressional singing. Nancy enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. She loved to visit Hawaii, Florida, and California, as well as campgrounds in Nashville, TN. Additionally, Nancy loved to show off her dance moves and her witty sense of humor which was usually followed up with her wonderfully contagious laugh Above all, Nancy loved to spend time with her family. She found great joy in being around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Nancy will be remembered for her loving spirit and hardworking nature. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished by those she leaves behind.
Nancy is survived by her significant other, Matthew Johnson; her children, Melissa Wickham, Andrew (Jessica) Wickham, Leah (Denny) Neff; her bonus daughter, Deeanna (Matthew); her grandchildren, Jessica, Andrea (Coby Sr.), Jordan, Austin, Alexandra, Bryer, Kai, Morgan, and Addison; her bonus grandchildren, Claire and June; her great grandchildren, Bradly, Savannah, Sylis, Rayn, Cassidy, Coby Jr., and Ashton; her siblings, Karren (Terry), Linda (Danny), Donald (Kimberly), Teresa (Michael), Charles Jr. (Della) and Beth Ann (Rodney); her nieces and nephews, Julie, Carol-Lisa, Hilary, Tyler, Bryar, Lindsay, Ashley, Michael, Ceara, Krista, Courtney, Meghan, Chelsea, Tanner, Shamra, Shyla, and Johnathan; her great uncle, Richard; 35+ great nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Wickham.

A visitation for Nancy will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
