Naomi Garrison, 88, of Greenwood passed away October 1, 2017. She was born November 6, 1928 in Pineville, KY to Green and Ruby (Bradshaw) Carnes.

Naomi retired from GC Murphy''s in Fountain Square. She read her Bible everyday and enjoyed eating sweets.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Garrison; parents, Green and Ruby Carnes; brother, Bill Carnes and sister, Mildred Johnson.

Naomi is survived by her sons, Alvin (Joyce) Garrison and Russell (Kathy) Garrison; brothers, Aubrey Carnes; sister, Magalene Messer; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitaiton will be held TODAY, Wednesday, October 4 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 10:00 am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
