Obituary

Noel Wayne Zook, Fountaintown, IN, passed away on the early morning Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was 76 years old. Wayne was born in Noblesville, IN to his parents Joseph Wayne Zook and Donna Mae (Shaffer) Zook. He graduated from Jackson Central High School, class of 1965.Wayne  married his wife, Therese "Terre", on May 26, 1979 and they shared 44 years of marriage together.
Wayne worked as a machine operator for Navistar (formerly International Harvester) for 38.7 years and retired in 2005 after his years of service. Wayne was a Shriner and a Mason, his home lodge being in Sugarcreek. Wayne was a member of three different bowling leagues throughout his life. Wayne enjoyed motorcycling and was loyal to Harley Davidson throughout his life. Wayne always made a point to put his family at the center of everything; he loved listening to their stories and had a way of making those around him feel heard. Wayne's charming personality and sense of humor will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Therese "Terre" Zook; his children, Alissa (Jason Goodwill) Harsin and Danney Zook; his grandchildren, Isabelle Harsin, Emerson Harsin, Hunter Harsin, Lilly Harsin, Maggie Harsin, Olivea (Patrick) Phillips and Cassandra Zook; his bonus grandchildren, Bryan Dimperio, Chelsie Fedele, Bailey Goodwill, Riley Goodwill, and Aryanna Goodwill; his great grandchildren, Xander Evans and Jaydon Evans; his bonus great grandchildren, Lian Phillips and Ronin Phillips; his additional extended family members.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Amanda Zook; his infant children, Katherine Zook and Anthony Zook; his brother, Willie Zook.
A visitation for Wayne will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 8:00 pm. Burial will follow on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 10:00 am. The family will meet at the funeral home on Friday at 9:45 am to proceed to the committal service.
