Norma Jean Burton, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her home, with her loving family at her side. She was born August 4, 1932 in Rossville, IN to Jim and Iva Davis. Norman Jean was a graduate of Rossville High School with the Class of 1950. She was a forklift operator for Technicolor, which was formerly RCA, GE, and Thomson. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet and spend time with her family.

Norma Jean is survived by her sons, Robert L. (Sherri) Burton, Sr. and Mark A. (Joan) Burton; grandson, James Burton; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, has been entrusted for her care.
