Norma Jean Hopkins, 72, died December 8, 2021, at her home in Greenwood, Indiana with her children and sister by her side.

She was born on March 13, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Norman and Dorothy Skillern.  She graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and went on to work for National Life Insurance as an Office Manager for ten years and later for Best Buy as an Admin Senior and trainer for twelve years where she was affectionately known as "Miss Jean".

She enjoyed playing card and dice games with family and friends, cooking for and hosting family gatherings on holidays, and being out in the sun. She loved and collected all things angelic. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her brothers, Marvin Skillern, Stacie Brown, and Buck Gregory; sisters, Pat Linville and Vicki Goode; 2 sons, Charles Hopkins II and Eric Hopkins; and 3 grandchildren, Lilly, Emma, and Ephram.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood on Wednesday, December 15 from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will be a 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
